11 Towel Cleanup on Beach Road

The rain started yesterday. It’s been off and on through the night and morning. Angie and I saw a break in the clouds and decided it would be a good time to go to the store and swing by the teacher housing to check on on some things. We got stuck at the teacher housing for about 30 minutes waiting on a few rain clouds to pass over.

When we got back, our balcony was full of water and running into the house. It took 9 beach towels and 2 regular towels to clean up the water that had run under the door into our living room. Hmm. Braden is in the picture. What is he doing? He should be doing school right now. Hang on just a minute. [Insert good parenting here.] Don’t worry, Braden is back at his desk broadening his mind with the other online students. Looks like all the rain and clean up distracted him just enough that he forgot what he was supposed to be doing–school. The PSP was just laying there waiting to be played.

Anyway, looks like we have more rain coming. We have all the towels drying on the drying racks waiting for the next round. Yes, that is our living room rug laying over a few trunks and a chair. The trunks are empty. I plan to move them to the office this afternoon if there is a long enough rain delay.
